Reviews of John F Cunningham Aquatic Complex
"The activities they offer here for the kids are awesome, they have an abundant staff including guards. I haven't swam in the pool in a long time but the pool itself is amazing because the floor raises and lowers according to what function it needs to serve. They used to have a wake-boarding contest in the pool that was pretty good."
"GVRD is still working out of the front desks at Cunningham Pool. Teresa and the other girl at the front desks are very helpful, and courtious. We only had a bit of a miscommunication on area I was reserving at Dan Foley Park but, I didn't make a big deal about it. We had a great Hogan/Spartans Get Together/Reunion just the same."
"I love this pool and the classes, however the manager? Or whoever he is with the long blonde hair is on a power trip. Talking to him is pointless too, unless you like being talked to like a child. Overall he may need some training or to work in a different department."
"Nice staff, clean facility. They are still using Covid19 protocols so 1 swimmer per lane and you reserve ahead of time, which I actually like. They make it all super easy. There's also deck showers which is nice for getting a swim cap on and rinsing off after a swim."
"Swimming lessons were perfect for my 3 grandchildren. After 6 weeks of group lessons, they were no longer afraid of the water and learned a few life saving techniques. Took them to family functions this summer that involved swimming pools and they weren't perfect swimmers, but knew enough to participate and have a great time. Can't wait to enroll them next summer. If they lived closer, I would have them swim year round as offered. Thank you Cunningham!"
