"Kyle is an artist. He understands wood and is able to revive its natural beauty as intended by the artisans at the beginning of the 20th century. He stripped seven layers of paint that covered the beautiful woodwork in our 1913 craftsman home. Not only were we impressed with his attention to detail and commitment to the craftsman style era, but so were all the other tradesmen who saw the transition. We did not fully understand how long the process would take, but trusted Kyle and his commitment to deliver the best product he could given that he was working with 400 year-old wood (our understanding is that most of the trees cut at the turn of the 20th century were already 300 years old).
