Most did not respond, and the only other one who did quoted us more than double what Servpro charged (including $80 just to move the fridge away from the wall!). "This month, I had a disaster with my wash machine flooding my home. SERVPRO arrived within hours and started the water mitigation immediately. They thoroughly explained the water damage situation and also kept in contact with my adjuster. Servpro came to my home daily to check saturation levels and adjusted the equipment as necessary. "I was devastated when I realized that a failed water connection in the bathroom had been quietly destroying my home. It wasn’t until I moved a heavy wooden chair that I saw the marshy conditions soaking through the carpet. SERVPRO was quick to respond and remove all the mold and wet from my home. They covered my floors with protective liners and hung plastic drapes to protect the rest of the house while they diligently worked. And to top it off, the final bill for the remediation process came in under the max for my insurance coverage — meaning I had zero out of pocket expense for that process.
