"Olivia quoted me an outrageous price, but I agreed to it due to a time crunch. I gave her the key on a Wednesday, she said she would be there on Friday to clean, and then return on Saturday to finish. Wednesday night after 9 pm my husband received a text from Vicente saying that Olivia would be there on Thursday to clean. Thursday, Vicente asked that I meet Olivia at the house, she had finished early. I went over there Thursday in a hurry (at dinner time with two hungry young kids, for what it's worth), checked that the shower was free of mold, toilets were clean, and the oven was clean. The kitchen floor was soaking wet - okay, she had probably just mopped it. I did not have time for a thorough review of the house and I trusted that she had cleaned. My mistake! We returned to the house a few days later and the kitchen floor was dry, but where the grout was previously light colored, it had remained dark. The face of the oven had been deeply scratched. There were dead flies in the windowsills, cobwebs all over, and the refrigerator had not been touched. Additionally, we had previously had several belongings in the house including Clorox wipes, cleaning supplies, etc; these were all gone. We called Vicente, he said they would come over. They did not show up for hours, until my husband texted them to inform them a police report would be filed for our belongings if they did not bring them. They came, and said that they “always” remove belongings for moving cleanings, and they always dispose of them in the garbage. We asked why, then, they brought some of the items back with them that day, and Vicente said “We thought we could use them.” They had used up our cleaning supplies and thrown them in the garbage, and kept the rest of the usable items for themselves. They said we agreed on the price, no refund was possible, and that I had earlier said the cleaning was fine. I agreed that I didn’t thoroughly check everything, and I thought the floor was brown from water, not dirt. But no partial refund was an option; they had nothing to say for themselves regarding the incomplete cleaning or theft of our property. Oh, and she had charged $650 for an 1100 sq foot house; I made the mistake of assuming that meant the house would be spotless. TLDR: Don’t waste your time or money. Learn from my mistake. The negative reviews are true."
