"The contractor was cordial, and the staff on site were pleasant. Sadly, we will not hire them again. Here is our experience: The company wrote that the start date was TBD on the contract and forgot about the job for about 6 months after receiving the down payment. They had to be reminded and reoriented to the job they already agreed to take on. There was a lack of precision in the billing. Proposed charges for a project at the start were never edited at the final bill to reflect what was actually done/not done. We were charged for items that were never utilized or done, and they later called them “discounts” when asked for those items to be credited back. We were told they were being generous. We had one successful project installation and another unsuccessful installation which caused damage to the unit and tremendous inconveniences. We had to have the unit evaluated by a technician, reorder the unit, and have it reinstalled properly by another company. Regardless of its failure, what we ended up paying for this particular job was overpriced. Regarding the successful project, there was a lack of meticulousness: The installation was done well but details surrounding the job was disappointing. It was a patchy paint job, paint marks left on the door and bathtub, and there was a missed drywall repair that had to be pointed out. Once pointed out, these items were taken care of. There was no on-site supervision from contractor once the job was complete. He did not lay eyes on the completed work. Overall, not the optimal experience. Failure to respond to emails in a timely fashion and address the problem once we started running into issues was very frustrating. I would go with another company that would regard a small project with the same value as with that of a large project."

His bid was very competitive with the other companies, we selected him because his bid was less than the others and he made us feel comfortable. We had a leaking balcony over our garage that required repair. His workers and subcontractors were experts in their specialty and kept the work area clean. We are very happy with the repair. I highly reccomend Boyd Masing."

They raised the ceiling and offered me various options that I hadn't thought of. They were in and out in 11 days!! I was so impressed.
