"My experience was nothing less than a literal torment both financially and socially. Belong miscommunicated many times about this home including but not limited to: 1. Borderline duress on signing a second 6 month lease 2. Miscommunicating my responsibilities on move out 3. Failing to negotiate better communication with the homeowner nearing the end of the lease 4. Assuming validity of a previous years income for the first lease as the income to qualify for the second lease agreement and removing the two additional applicants on the original lease. The income assumed and used for the second lease was for 2-3 years previous and did not indicate my current financial situation. In addition the income used was my business income which after expenses and showing my PERSONAL income is not enough to have rented the home the second time. The lease was in my name not that of my business. Yet, the homeowner and belong refused to hear out my communication on these issues. The second 6 month lease belong used my business income to qualify me and get the lease approved. But the lease was under my name. The first lease had 3 people and 3 incomes. They told me they could do an addendum to get more applicants on afterward which they then refused and changed their minds. Now 2 months after me moving out (past the legal limit) the homeowner and belong are claiming over $10k in move out costs after I paid several thousand for cleaning and prep of the home. The homeowner has been out to get me from the beginning and has been impossible to deal with. I will be disputing a portion if not all of these costs so that I can move on from this egregious decision and not allow the homeowner or belong to take advantage of me."

"I rent an apartment in sf from belong home , i pay almost 4000$ a month. Belong has not answered my emails or calls. I moved into this place nov 2023 and been only three months. The shower main facet broke The garbage disposal broke Garage fob doesnt work from the start. After many unanswered emails and calls. I ended up asking the HOA president to help me with the fob. Its not his job to do this. The belong plumber has shown up without checking if i am home. asked about my availability only once and didn't show up as agreed. Things dont get fixed. Belong doesn't communicate or update me after several calls and emails. I end up spending my own money to address the issues, to make it tolerable to live in. Belong is quick to take your money and doesnt do their job as a property mgt company, addressing repairs. They ignore your concerns."
