"An upstairs toilet overflowed during an entire holiday weekend, destroying the kitchen/dining area below. We are so grateful we were referred to ServPro. They were immediately responsive and at the house within an hour of our call. They communicated well, documented the entire process with photos at various steps along the way, used a thick plastic containment system to keep the 'construction zone' separated from the remainder of the house, worked with our insurance adjuster, answered our (many) questions and helped guide us about next steps. I don't wish this awful mess on anyone, but if you find yourself having to deal with a similar disaster, do yourself a favor and call ServPro right away. They helped keep us sane, and more importantly, we can trust that our house is mold free and sanitized before we start the arduous process of rebuilding."

"ServPro of Santa Cruz is amazing!! Our toilet overflowed and caused considerable water damage to our 1st floor and garage area. The damage started at around 5PM. The Servpro crew was drying the home and remediating the damage until 5:30 AM that morning. YES....5:30 in the morning!!!! Over 7 months, they store our damaged items, cleaned them, gave a detailed list of what could not be salvaged for our insurance to reimburse, brought us items that we needed when we were displaced, and finally brought back the cleaned items once our home was finished. I'm amazed by ServPro of Santa Cruz--Sharon, Tony, Vince, and their entire team is the best in the business!!!"

"When I discovered a water leak in the house, I called up my Insurance agent to file a claim. From a number of recommendations, I ended up choosing SERVPRO of Santa Cruz/Santa Clara since they had fair number of positive reviews on Yelp. They came over promptly after I called them. They started by meticulously taking pictures of all the affected areas, measuring humidity and other metrics to determine the impact of the water leak. They took pictures of all the work they did (before, during and after) to ensure that nothing is missed and everything is tracked well. This also helped with the insurance claim since the insurance company was kept in the loop with all this information. They opened up the walls and carpets (removed dry wall and insulation from the affected areas) to proceed with the drying process. They always worked within a covered/enclosed chamber they constructed using plastic sheets to ensure debris/ dust does not propagate through the rest of the house. The crew was always punctual, and checked in daily to verify the machines as well as to track the drying process. They were constantly removing debris, etc. as they were working on the house. All the crew members that worked at our place (Tony, Cuit, Pedro, Santiago, .. probably forgetting a few names here) were some of the best folks I have had over working on the house. Elsy from SERVPRO would give us a heads up of the crews availability/schedule prior to them heading over for the day. The entire team was on top of this job, and I am thankful to them for all the good work they put into it."
