"Mr Lawrence took advantage of.my son with electricity cutting out. He charged over $800 just to replace a receptacle in bedroom. Then advised thousands $ in rewiring repairs to fix rest house. Actually it only needed a replacement circuit breaker which was burned and replaced by the landlord after repairs paid for. Owner Lawrence would not discuss the situation with the property owner and was very rude. Never recommended this company to anyone. BBB has been notified."

"Have used Lawrence Electric once for a pretty good size job. They were fast efficient and affordable. I now have retained them for all my electrical small or large. The work they did was outstanding. The workers which were usually one of two were helpful, respectful and informative. I really am happy I have them. No job is to small for them and I truly appreciate that. I have a smaller job that they will be doing for me."

"Herbert Lawrence sent 2 men out when I called for an estimate for electrical. These 2 men ( I never saw their license) talked me into get the work done then, saying they could really cut the costs for me. I found out later they lied when said they pulled a building permit and all the extensive wiring they did was not permitted. Now no electrician will touch it, saying they do not want to be liable pulling a permit on someone else work. The building department is saying that I need to open up the walls to expose the wiring so they can inspect the work. I have filed a Complaint with The California State Licensing Board in Sacramento. He refused mediation, we are in the next step, Investigation. At all costs AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS who think they are above the law! I will update."
