"It is with a sense of responsibility that I share a cautionary note regarding our recent experience with Astute Advisors, specifically with Karen Yu. Our intention is to provide constructive feedback and inform others who may be considering her services. Our business engaged with Ms. Yu for tax-saving strategies. Initially, her confidence and promises of substantial tax savings seemed promising. Based on these assurances, we agreed to an upfront payment of $10,000, in addition to her standard quarterly fees, believing this investment would yield significant returns. Unfortunately, our experience did not align with our expectations. The strategies proposed by Ms. Yu were not only ineffective for our specific business needs but also led to missed tax filings and subsequent penalties and fees from the IRS. This resulted not only in financial loss but also a considerable investment of time in pursuing strategies that were ultimately inapplicable to our situation. Our interactions with Ms. Yu were further marred by a pattern of misleading guidance, followed by apologies for the misdirection. This has been a challenging and disappointing experience, leading us to conclude that the services provided by Astute Advisors, under the guidance of Ms. Yu, were unsatisfactory. We feel it is important to share our experience transparently, with the hope that it may serve as a useful insight for others in making informed decisions regarding their financial and tax planning needs."
