"Dr. Dean is awesome! My husband and I have been seeing him for the last 5 years or so, and he and his staff are truly great! I've had moments of panic, where I've needed immediate care, and attention, and he always makes room to see me. There was an incident with my husband a few years ago, and he went out of his way to come to our home (on Christmas weekend) to care for him! He really does go above and beyond and is one of the nicest most genuine doctors. I've recommended friends, and their parents to Dr Dean, and I've never met anyone who wasn't satisfied with his level of care! Dana, his medical assistant is also great. She is attentive, kind, and always remembers you!"

"My daughter and her husband went to Dr. Dean Smith for many years prior to their moving away from Ventura County (and their daughter, our granddaughter, went to his wife who is a pediatrician) and they raved about both doctors. When my husband needed a new family doctor several years ago, they referred him to Dr. Smith and it was the best referral they could have given him! I typically go along with my hubby to his appointments (and vice versa so that what one of us might forget is talked about the other one remembers! haha) and I see why he is so happy with "Dr. Dean", as he likes to call him. Dr. Smith never makes Kenny feel rushed; he takes the time to go over any concerns he has and doesn't end the visit until all questions are answered and/or referrals to specialists are made. He is down to earth with a great bedside manner and he has an amazing staff as well! If I didn't already have an established family doctor that I like, I would go to him as well! Oh, and I am writing this review because Kenny doesn't use Google. ;-)"

"Best Doctor I’ve ever had. I have referred my entire extended family and many friends to Dr. Smith. Extremely competent and caring staff. One of the things I most appreciate is that Dr. Smith is not one of those doctors who runs in the exam room, doesn’t give you a chance to talk, and rushes out without ever taking the time to hear you out or answer questions. He spends the time needed to get the full picture and answer all your questions."

"I’m writing to share my experience with Dr. Dean Smith. He is the kindest , caring, most brilliant doctor I’ve ever met. I have a personal story about Dr. Smith that I feel the whole world should know. A few years ago Dr. Smith, let’s just say was caring enough to stop by my home, while I had an ambulance team with me. I was dying , I had ruptured spleen and was bleeding out in front of my 2 kids. Had Dr. Smith not been here at my time of need, I can honestly say I would not be alive today. I was able to see my daughter graduate college and only because Dr. Smith has the biggest heart, intelligence, not to mention he has a lovely wife and family. "I have been having some issues that 3 drs had no clue what to tell me or what direction to lead me in. I came to Dr Dean as a new patient and am so glad that I did. He spent time with me and listened and was determined to figure things out and get me an answer. He even called me the next day to check on how a prescription was working for me. So impressed by this man's experience, knowledge and kindness. I love all of the ladies in the office as well! I was made to feel welcomed and left their office in a good mood. That's not something that usually happens after leaving a drs office. Highly recommend!!"
