"Before diving in here, let's make it clear that I have the same general disgust toward insurance companies that so many others have shared (in fact, only lawyers sit a rung lower on my list). HOWEVER, my experience dealing with Progressive on a salvage claim was about as seamless as possible. The telephone agents (Jilliane, Anna, Chris, Joe) were timely, efficient and very professional. My visit to this San Diego office was no different. Karen was top notch, knowledgeable, very friendly and had all the paperwork and check prepared ahead of my scheduled arrival. I hope not to burn in hell giving 5-stars to an insurer, but these people deserve to be acknowledged for a job very well done."
"I'm going to be cancelling this insurance when I get a free moment. Last night I had a flat tire on my motorcycle that I have insured with Progressive. I tried to arrange a tow with their roadside assistance. They have an automated system that is terrible. I was in a very dark and isolated area on the shoulder of the highway at night and I didn't want to be digging around through my gear looking for my policy number. It took forever to get a human and when I did, her phone connection was terrible and I could hear babies crying in the background. No kidding!....babies crying?....I was crying by this point..... She was useless in terms of helping me. I'm not sure what country she was in but the connection was very bad. In any case, I ended up calling a local towing company. I will be cancelling. Thank you for nothing Progressive....not so progressive."
