"I found Regent wealth to take their fiduciary responsibility to their clients VERY seriously., to give candid advice on my ability to retire.with my current investments, to hold onto good ones and make corrections on any that could be improved. My advice to the other reviewers. Don't go to free dinners if you don't need financial.help and I encourage you to find everything about their team if you are seriously looking for them to manage your investments. We switched to them and are happily retired at 64 with no pension.and a clear cut plan for the next 30 years too! (-:"
"The other reviews above are about the dinner presentation. When you actually go to their office and hear what they have to say it is quite interesting. Basically you need to decide if you are going to let them manage your money for you or if you are going to keep it where it is, like in your 401k account. They have a computer program that makes recommendations based on your investment goals and risk tolerance."
"Attended ¨La Foret December 12, 2018 6:30pm¨. I can agree almost verbatim to what Buck stated in his review, only that the food was okay and I left before dessert as I could no longer listen to the founder, Don Bergis, trying to be comical about my retirement. The Presentation was hideous, he read off the slides, a big no no, although the font was so small we couldn´t read them anyway. Why such detail about the people who work for him. I know he wants our business, but small talk and trying to scare us into his company helping us didn´t do it for me."
"I responded to a mail add for a complimentary dinner. The dinner was good, however the sales pitch was 2 hours and 17 minutes. Non stop talking four over two hours! The sales guy spent the first half an hour talking about his team. It was exhausting. it was hard to understand exactly what his Focus was I believe it was on selling annuities. But there were never any clear examples or definitions of anything. The sales guy kept pushing this 2% rule for retirement without ever giving a specific equation or amount the 2% would come from. It was just example after example of fear-based sales tactics. It felt like the guy was suggesting that if we didn't meet with the company and start investing with them our lives would be ruined financially. After the dinner the lead sales guy guarded the exit of the restaurant like a gatekeeper. Simply escaping was as challenging as navigating out of a used car lot with an extremely pushy salesman. I deeply regret responding to the junk mail add in the first place. Lesson learned."
