California Urgent Care Center Stockton-Pershing

"California Urgent Care at Pershing ave dose Not value their patients. They rudely tell patients to walk out if they visit them at 8.40pm. On Feb 28th, 2024 at 8.42 pm I walked in California urgent care, located at the Pershing ave. The center was empty, the last patient was walking out. They refused to take me in. Their words, "we are done for the day". I asked, but the sign says open, and your door was open. The lady told me, "door was open for People to walk out, we stop taking new once in at 8.30pm". This makes totally no sense to me me. I asked if I could be seen, since they are empty anyways, and I was in lot of pain. They said no. We are done. They even told me, they would call the cops if I won't leave because to me, it was making no Sense so I tried to record the conversation, thinking I can complain about this. Now I need to know if this is even legal to put up the closing sign as 9pm and typically closing at 8.30pm. If patient enter, just kick them out. Is it legal, or Logical. I feel health department should do something regarding this rude behaviors. Might as well just put up the closer sign at 8.30pm, and get the doors locked, only open when patient has to come out, and not to advertise the closing time of 9pm. Because people google for urgent care's and hospital's, they first look at the distance, the arrival time before they even began to drive. And just to get kicked away with no valid reasons makes complete no Sense. I feel I got refused to be seen, got judged, got humiliated without me being at the fault. Though I was nicely dressed and looked decent, presentable, but just because I entered the facility at 9.40, the ladies looked at me as if Ike being judged, and they were rude. The camera's can be looked at, the conversations that were made, plus they were empty. So they were just maybe chilling waiting for another few minutes to pack up and leave, as they were done for the day. Seeking justice at the medical facility."

"Yesterday I went to this place and the truth is that both the girls at the reception and the doctor were very rude to me. They made me wait like 4 hours. I heard patients coming and going in the next room, I asked them if they could help me. and they told me wait a moment, I waited another hour and only for the Dr. to tell me that they couldn't treat me there so I had to go to the emergency room. They charged the insurance a fortune without even giving me anything at all. Before, this was my favorite place for emergencies, they had very good care and very friendly staff, those who were there before are no longer there, what a shame, that now there are only people this rude and racist, you tell them that they don't understand English very well or they see your name in Spanish and they make dirty faces at you. Seriously, try changing your services, I see the comments here and most of them are about nasty things. what a shame they changed.I shouldn't even give it this star. If the staff were like 4 years ago I would give them up to 10 stars"

"I took my 3 yr old here because her pediatrician didn't have any appointments and she had a fever that just kept climbing. They said she needed a COVID test fine whatever gets her seen. I ask if she could use the bathroom and the girl in front said no she has to wait until she gets tested. I say she is 3 and she can't wait the girl said oh well and she needs to wait outside until she gets tested. We go sit in the car. They finally called us to get the test and I asked again if she could use the bathroom and that girl said no she has to wait for the results. I explained again that she is 3 and has been waiting for a while. The girl said she has to wait. I asked for a manager and she said they don't have one. We ended up leaving because my daughter was about to pee on herself. I will never go back here."

"Whoever answered our call on 12/29 around 3pm was very unprofessional. In the span of a 6-minute call, not a drop of kindness was emitted from her tone. When explaining our situation, she didn’t bother to try to understand and shrugged us off. Put us on hold, and when she connected with us again, she asked how she could help us. Ma’am, you put us on hold. Then when trying to explain yet again, she interrupted us and proceeded to be rude. When I interact with a healthcare professional, I expect to be treated with professionalism and compassion. It’s very upsetting to have had this type of interaction; fortunately our issue was minor, but I can’t imagine having that type of communication with a sickly elder or vulnerable sick individual."

"Very polite, friendly staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. Appreciate their hospitality. Nurse jessica administering my covid test was super nice."
