"This is one of the worst insurance companies. We had them for 29 years since 1995. First we filed for roof problems sometime in 2010 which they denied. Second, we filed a claim of burglary last August 27, 2023. They interviewed us for investigation last October 10, 2023 over 30 days after the burglary. The interview conducted by private investigator Claire Brunhild was too personal and incriminating for 90 minutes each (2): asking about your income, lifestyles, how often you travel, eat at restaurants, how much your savings, took several pictures and videos inside and outside of the house etc. As of this date January 22, 2024 they are still investigating. Very slow process and bad service. This insurance is only good when collecting payments but when it comes to claim they are one of the worst companies. They have too many limits and exemptions on their policies. Today, Jan 26, 2024 I received a letter from the insurance attorney. They want to interview and investigate me again. This insurance company does not want to pay. They treat you not as customer/client but more of a suspect. They will do everything to deplete your claims. Their insurance attorney even require you more documents to produce as if you are on trial under oath of examination. This is terrible!!!"
"This is the worst homeowners insurance, stay away at all costs. They will give you the run around, under pay, not cover personal property damages, etc. Angelica Reynolds’s, our adjuster was downright rude in her communications with us and unresponsive. We reached out to her supervisor, Rudy Cusat and no response from him either. We are going to the insurance commissioner and filing a claim. We had a roof leak due to the January 2023 storm and now it’s March and still no conclusion. As soon as we settle our claim we are switching insurance. Don’t waste your money on this carrier."
"This company should not be in business. Received a letter dated 10-04, stating they cancelled my policy 10-04 due to some findings on an inspection done in August. I never received an inspection report, never received a warning letter and I was told they would not give me an extension to correct the issues. Also, I have yet to receive my check. Quick to cancel the policy without warning, not so quick on sending a check. Customer service is horrible, the supervisor not helpful at all! One star is too good!"
"I have had their homeowners insurance for 26 years. I never thought that I could change companies. My payments have slowly gone up every year over the past 5 years. This year, my payments went up $40/month. I decided to shop around and most companies offered me a policy that was at least $400 cheaper/year. To say the least, I am not their customer any more!!!"
"This company is very predatory and does not follow the standard set by other insurance companies during the pandemic crisis. People out of work are having their policies cancelled - one I know personally wasn't even formally notified via phone call. And the broker(s) Pronto Insurance (California) and Insurance Land (Florida) are equally culpable in their dealings with their customers, being extremely rude, short, condescending, passing the customer from person to person to person being purposefully wasteful and inefficient in time. I would not suggest you do business with any of these companies. I see many similar reviews, so it is not just an occasional problem. It looks wide-spread, and in their business culture."
