"The colonoscopy experience I had was the most streamlined procedure process I have experienced. Gary, who checked me in was super efficient but also very kind. The nurses Renee & Monica, nurse anesthetist Hai, procedure room staff & Dr. Shen were all very good. It was impressive Dr. Shen picked up 2 very small polyps. The pre procedure phone instructions & post procedure written instructions & procedure notes were very complete. The hand offs between each step were seamless. "The procedure itself was fine. Very little interaction with the doctor due to how late they were running that day. Basically, right before the surgery, the doctor asked me if I had any questions...that's it. When I scheduled my appt, my paperwork said, 930 am. When they called me 2 days before the surgery, they told me it was 1030. The morning of the surgery, they called me right before I was leaving my house (thank goodness) and told me they were running late and to come in at 1130. I showed up at 1115 and was told they were still running late. Its now 130pm and I'm still waiting in the lobby when the receptionist told me, "they will be coming to get you in about 15-20 minutes". All this for a procedure that requires NOTHING to eat for the entire day before the surgery. So I last ate on Wednesday evening, nothing all day Thursday, and not until 4pm Friday (after the surgery). I wasn't the only one. Lots of "hangry" people in the lobby that day."

In recovery the nurses (especially Amy from Indiana) ensured that the photos and report were explained. Would choose them again even if I drive from Corona."
