"I made an appointment with Dr. Parnell 2 months ago. On the day of my appointment the office is closed. No one called to cancel and I had even called the day before to confirm my appointment. It's very unprofessional. I live 30 minutes away and had to get a ride to the appointment. I'm very disappointed."

"I was in intense pain for four days straight, so I saw Dr. Parnell for an urgent same-day appointment on September 15. I had to wait for awhile but I didn't mind as I knew it was a last minute thing and they were doing me a favor. Everyone there was extremely nice and professional. After my exam, Dr. Parnell told me to go directly to the ER, as there was a chance I might need surgery. I followed his instructions and had surgery the next day, September 16. All of the doctors at the hospital knew and respected Dr. Parnell and Coast Gastroenterology, so it was a really positive experience overall. I will definitely return to this practice if/when I have GI issues in the future."

"Haha so writing a review won’t even help. If you catch this message before you go in cancel your appointment. Save yourselves. Purely abusing people insurance because now I need a second opinion because Dr. Lott did nothing but made me feel uncomfortable about the entire situation a 4 hour non-evasive procedure that takes 15 minutes. FYI sedation is not mandatory. He actually told me that he would make a recommendation and had his secretary call and say he’s not. I’m Still recovering"

"This place is not your typical gastroenology clinic. I'm a 64 years old with type 2 diabetes and I went to this clinic for colonoscopy. First consultation the providing dr. Continously talk about himself and university friends he had similar last name like mine. He didn't ask what was the reason that I'm doing this procedure. I interrupted him purposely and direct his attention to my problems, but he ignored and went back on his university friends nonsense. I wanted to tell him Dr. Lott what do I care? You are getting paid to take care of my problem!!! On the day of procedure I haven't had anything to eat for 36 hours and had to wait for 3 hours. Imagine someone with diabetes with low sugar had to wait that long. I felt weak and about to go out of conscious. When it was my turn I told this lousy doctor " you couldn't make it easier for me to do it sooner according to appointment time". In response he laughed. It has been three weeks and I haven't been able to get the report. I contacted insurance company and I asked them to get report from this unconventional doctor office. Be aware of consequences of the procedures at this place. There are bunch of other clinics that would treat you with more respect and much better medical treatment."
