"I bought in summer of 2017 with the help of a young woman in this office for both escrow and title services. Visited the lobby two or three times, to vet them for peace of mind, and to hand-deliver documents. Wait in lobby was brief, and service highly competent. This was after a real estate agent first tried to steer me to an "online", out-of-area title company (I'll call it "XX"). Word of experience: NEVER, ever, agree to use any escrow or title company that you cannot physically walk into. Online company XX turned out to have a history of violations with state regulators, for commingling client assets with their own -- surprise #1. This was turned up by my own web search. I then told the RE agent that either we'd find a local broker, or he'd find another buyer. My suggestion of Chicago prevailed. A few weeks later came surprise #2 -- Chicago's bill was about $1000 LESS than online XX wanted to charge!"
