UCSF Home Health Care, located at 3360 Geary Boulevard in San Francisco, California, is a health institution that provides home-based primary care services and palliative care to homebound adults in the area. Established in 1999, the Care at Home Program focuses on teaching medical students about caring for frail adults in their homes.
Patients must be 65 or older, reside in San Francisco, and be unable to leave home due to physical disability or dementia. The institution accepts Medicare, Medi-Cal, and supplemental insurance coverage, and is primarily funded by private support from foundations and individual donors. Referrals come from UCSF hospitals and clinics, community doctors, home care agencies, family members, and adult protective services.
In addition to providing home health care services, UCSF is known for its stem cell research center, which is one of the largest in the U.S. Researchers at UCSF are working on developing new treatment strategies for various disorders, including heart disease, diabetes, neurological conditions, and cancer.

Reviews
"Don't use their services. They use Nurse Practitioners and these people are not like doctors. The ignorant NP who monitored my mother withdrew a very important heart medication without consulting my mother's Cardiologist of record at UCSF Cardiology unit which resulted in my mother's heart attack and death. Wgen I filed a complaint with UCSF and Board of Nursing and nothing came of it. Medical System is this corrupt."
