"I walked out of their office today after being a patient for many years. I refuse to set an appointment and then wait an excessive time period any more. This is a pattern that has been repeated again and again."

I made an appointment for a cosmetic skin issue and hoped to receive some guidance for treatment options The NP that came in had very little knowledge of cosmetic procedures, suggested I buy some cream from the drugstore and go to another clinic… complete waste of my time! I left the treatment room annoyed and confused and was then told that I owe them $100 for the “consultation “- being told to go elsewhere is not a consultation The receptionist told me that the medical esthetician had left the practice ( I wonder why?!) and that she didn’t understand why I was booked for this consultation when I told them what I was looking for on the phone… If you want to waste time and money only to be told to go to to another practice- Placer Dermatology is your best bet! Ridiculous"

"Best dermatologist I've ever been too. I was referred for a second opinion and the Dr solved the issue in one visit. In follow up visit I was able to get botox and the nurse found a mole that was at risk for melanoma. She might have saved my life and helped prevent wrinkles in one appointment. I am absolutely shocked to see only three stars for this business. They are amazing."

"I am not the only one that seems to have an issue with the billing department. They asked me (highly recommended) that I would pay my portion (deductable) after treatment. I do not do that with other Doctors, but paid it anyway. Overpaid and have called at least 6 times, twice to the billing department and this is since August 20th, 22. This is not ethical, and I will not return to Placer Dermatology."

"Completely unethical practice, stay away. My insurance company even dropped them due to their consistent unethical billing practices. When I asked for my medical records to be sent to another practice, they actually made up a new bill while I was on the phone, claiming I owed $ from 6 months ago. When asked for a copy of the bill from 6 months ago, they said they hadn't generated it yet. They really would not release my records without paying this 'hostage fee'. Fraudulent in every manner. Stay away."
