"We are currently in the ICU unit with a terminal patient. The doctor and some nurses have been amazing have a great bedside manner. We we're greeted by a female security guard, who ignored our greetings, kept her sight to the floor, and spoke with a rude almost thuggish attitude. For being the first face that greets you, I'd honestly think twice about selecting this hospital. Although we are greatful for taking our family member in for an emergent procedure. We are very thankful! I don't think it's too much to ask for some respect and dignity at hard times. Some nurses seemed not to be interested in their jobs or in providing customer service. The night shift nurses sitting in the nurses station are just rude. When asked a simple question they reply with a condescending attitude, while another nurse replied "well said!" In a very sassy tone. Ugh! These nurses really need to brush up on their customer service. My family member was kept NPO so no food or water. The nurses did not inform us of the schedule change for the surgery until late afternoon with out food or water (he has the IV hydration but one needs moisture in mouth.) As a minority we strongly feel like we're being discriminated against! Human decency! I'm so upset! The only comfort I find is knowing the doctor's are amazing as well as other nurses. We appreciate you! For the rest of you rude unfortunate humans, if you cannot be considerate to a dying human being or their family please just stay home. Nurses and staff like that should really reconsider their career choice for their future endeavours"
"The staff was awesome in the 5150 ward... David was super helpful and kind. Casey was sweet she has spunk and knows how to the robot pretty well too! Lol. And Robert was super supportive and very attentive to my needs. When I asked all of them to do something they did it! Everyone laughed and had a good time! Thanks and love to the people that love YOU!"
"I had a medical emergency and arrived at ER around 5:15 am. The emergency nurse was very polite and was very efficient at getting me checked in. I’d say my “wait time” might have been 10 minutes. Once in the exam room, my situation was determined and went pretty fast. They couldn’t fix my problem but was then admitted to main hospital. Very professional staff, they answered questions and we able to get me stable. I’m VERY happy with the Sutter Health ER in Roseville."
"If you find yourself in need of a hospital this is the one you want to be in. I’ve had experience with most major hospitals in the Greater Sacramento area over the years, due to Babies and Asthma, and this is my favorite by a long shot. I showed up at three in the morning in absolute agony with a ruptured appendix and they were great. No waiting around. They diagnosed the problem and sent me to surgery within five hours. I had to stay for a few days, during that time I got to know quite a few of the nurses, and everyone of them were happy to be there. They all loved working for Sutter. Something I found to be very unique. Plus they all seemed to work reasonable hours, and no one seemed burnt out. Another thing I found great was the noise level. It was quite. No loud conversations going on at the nurses station while you’re trying to rest. There are signs everywhere reminding people to be quiet because healing was going on."
"We just had my second baby yesterday and Dr.Murphy was awesome as he always is! I was lucky enough to have my obgyn on call this weekend to deliver my daughter and nurse Cathy was so sweet during the whole labor. I felt very taken care during my whole entire stay with the aftercare nurses as well. Everyone has been very friendly and very accommodating. Complete 5 stars and highly recommend."
