"First off, I have to say the reviews scared the heck out of my husband the day of his surgery. He almost did not go into the center for his surgery. However, he is so glad he did now. Our experience was nothing like that of the reviews below. We found everybody to be inviting, kind, and caring. My husband was told in the operating room that he was the most important person in the room by the anesthesiologist. The nurses were wonderful and had great communication with both my husband and me. My only suggestion is that in the location where you're supposed to pick up the patient after the surgery is not clearly marked. I drove around the area 2x, trying to find the door in which I was supposed to go. A simple "PATIENT PICKUP" sign on the door would be nice. Dr Salem was excellent with my husband before as well as after. He seems to be a very knowledgable doctor who cares deeply about his patients and their concerns. So much so that he took 15 minutes+ before the surgery to meet with my husband and answer all his questions to help rest assured him that he would be fine. At his checkup afterward, Najwa, his PA, was also funny and considerate and just the sweetest PA. We had a couple of really good laughs in his after care checkup. She answered all our questions, not ever making us feel like we were taking up too much of her time. She spent plenty of time with us and made my husband feel comfortable with what to do for the for his aftercare. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr Salem as well as a surgery center. I don't know what happened with all the other bad reviews, but that was not our experience at all!"

"Dr Salem left the surgery center before I even woke up from surgery, and his nurses ignored me when I woke up screaming in pain because I could feel EVERYTHING. I begged them to help me because I was in so much pain, and they denied me. They manhandled me into a wheelchair because I couldn’t walk and shoved me in my car, telling my family to just hurry up and leave so I could be “more comfortable at home” and that “this is totally normal” all while I was wailing and begging them for help and to make the pain stop. Please never come here. I’m in a different ER now because the pain hasn’t let up even with the prescription they gave me, which we had to fill ourselves, at a pharmacy an hour away, even though we asked to transfer the prescription because it was going to close before we got there. They said they couldn’t because Dr. Salem and the anesthesiologist already left before I woke up, and only a Dr can transfer it. I only got the prescription because I was lucky enough to have a friend nearby go grab it for me. These people are inhumane. I’ve never felt so much pain in my life and I just want it to stop. Please save yourself from going through what I did. Do not come here."
