"DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE! I was trying to avoid leaving a bad review for a local business but recent events forced me to make everyone aware of my experience. Doctor: I had a severe stomach ache last year and wanted immediate attention. I research on google and found this business. The appointment scheduling was prompt and I was able to see Dr. Wong the next day. During the appointment, he asked me a couple of questions about the history of the issue, check a few things on my body, and suggested an endoscopy right away. I think he said he wanted to check if I do not have a cancer or anything serious like that. Yes an endoscopy after talking to me for just 15 minutes!!! He prescribed no other temporary relief to me and sent me to his assistant to schedule an appointment for the surgery. I did not push back on the recommendation or went for a second opinion because I was in extreme pain and wanted to trust the judgement of the doctor. I went through a surgery shortly thereafter. The surgery went smooth and I do not have any complains about the whole process. Here is why I am giving 1 star however. There was zero follow-up from the doctor on my situation. I was just given the reports and pictures of the endoscopy right after the surgery and told "everything is fine". I was not fine. I still had severe stomach ache and there was ZERO follow up from the doctor to ask about my situation. I felt I was duped into doing a very expensive endoscopy with no actual recommendation on addressing my issue. BTW I learned later with my own research (spending $1000+ out of pocket later) that I have built some allergy for nuts. I wish the doctor would have talked about this possibility with me while suggesting a full blown endoscopy. Billing: The doctor's office works with another surgery center that's a separate entity. So my endoscopy ended up generating a bunch of different payments for my doctor's visit, the doctor's participation in the endoscopy, other staff for the surgery, the surgery itself and anesthesia. In short, the billing is VERY VERY confusing. I ran late on paying my out of pocket and when I called the office to pay my bill, I specifically asked if I owe any other money. I was told no. Few months later I received a notice from collection that I have not paid all my bills. It turns out the lady who has access to the billing for both the doctor's office and the surgery center only confirmed about 1 account. She did not mention that I had dues on the doctor's office side. Did I miss a mail from them on the pending dues? Maybe, its hard to tell from the 100 other letters I get. I did assume I am all squared because they confirmed over the phone. I will be very honest that the billing setup is very confusing and not at all transparent. I ended up paying $100s of dollars in collection interests. I wanted to share all the information so that people can judge for themselves if they want to get service from this place. I would NEVER recommend this place to any of my friends and family."

"Most efficiently run medical office that I have ever experienced. I literally was only there for 60 minutes start to finish for my colonoscopy. I am completely satisfied and would highly recommend Dr. Shelby !"
