"Very expensive, even with insurance. Very unfriendly staff. They don’t let the caregiver back pre-op at all, unless the patient is a minor. So you have no idea what drugs they’ve been given or when, etc, which is a problem is later complications office. At other facilities, a spouse/caregiver is allowed to be there until the patient is taken back to take their personal items, hear what to expect, help fill out forms, etc. This place is serious surgery mill. I would not recommend it."

"I really hate to do this, since the staff who work here were wonderful and I had a positive experience with the surgery, but the billing experience afterwards has been a nightmare. I was sent to collections for a large bill I clearly don't owe. Before that, I spent hours of my own time disputing with the facility's third-party billing department, who might be some of the most incompetent, uncaring people to walk the face of the planet. That is, if they ever pick the phone up or return your voice mail, which is a rarity. My own insurance stepped in on my behalf and confirmed the facility is "balance billing" me, a practice which is typically illegal in California, and sent these guys a request to stop billing me. It made no difference in the end."

"A most impressive experience: Everyone so very professional, calm, and friendly even though there is a constant flow of patients. At every step a person will tell you what will happen, listen to you, and answer all questions you might have. If paper work is involved then the person will go through each page carefully explaining what is expected before giving you time to fill it out. I was delighted with the calm, friendly (and at time even a bit jocular) attitude of every one from the receptionist to nurses, to personnel in the endoscopy room, to Drs. One can see that there is a really good professional and congenial ambiance in this center. Thank you to those delightful professionals: the welcoming receptionist, the nurses: Angela who set me up, Judy the endo nurse who came to discuss the procedure, the other Judy in the endo room, David the endo tech, to the nurse who told me to look her up in the eyes while the anesthetic took effect, and Marlene who set me up me before leaving; and to Dr. Chung the anesthetist and Dr. G.Spencer the gastroenterologist (highly recommended) The information packet you receive upon leaving has all the results about your procedure which Dr. Spencer reviewed with me after I woke up - the anesthesia is quick to act and quick to wear off without any trace. I am simply bowled over and so grateful for having been treated at this center. Grateful that in a high tech environment, such "old fashion" care and approach to patient care and relation still exist. Amazing!"

"I just had a procedure done here and let me tell you: Hands down, this place was the best surgery center I've ever been to! I may look calm and cheerful on the outside, but I always feel a lot of agita about getting anything medical done. I have to psych myself up and force myself to do these things! But when I arrived at Silicon Valley Surgery Center, my anxiety lessened, and I knew I'd be well taken care of. The moment I arrived, Flor greeted my friend and me with warmth and professionality -- everything was well-organized and easy for me to do, even in my anxious state. Nurse Judy was great! She was kind, gentle, and cracked me up (which distracted me from my nerves). I could really tell that she and the other amazing nurses, Kathy and Angela, really love working with patients. Plus, I've got to give big props to the team for running the surgery center in a very covid-safe way. As somebody who is higher risk for covid, I appreciated being able to get medical care without worrying about catching The 'Rona! I know I've already written a review for him, but I have to give mad props to the best gastro ever, Dr. Roorda -- he's so smart, positive, and caring! I wish I could also remember the name of the anesthesiologist, so I can give him props, too -- he was great."

"When in this morning to have a epidural injection procedure done. This procedure you are required to have a ride home. I provided them with my phone number for my ride home. The lady at the front desk commenced to harassing me and questioning my integrity whether I had a ride or not. I'm guessing she did did not take my answer as yes for what it was worth. Very disrespectful front desk at this facility. Would definitely want to go somewhere else to have this injection. Worst experience in my life from that lady"
