Reviews of Feinberg Medical Group
"I had seen this doctor before and luckily the shots worked for a few years. The pain in back and I needed to schedule again. They made me jump through multiple hoops (re-open my case which I understood, then they needed my medical records, then they needed to evaluate if they could even help me) to even talk to someone. Once they got everything, I had to call them to schedule only to find out they will not see me because the dr. is not seeing any older injury patients. A total waste of 3 weeks. I am in pain and that's how they treat people. SHAME on them!"
"I highly recommend Feinberg Medical Group and Dr Wedemeyer, Dr Koropitzer, Rachel, Kate and All the Staff at Feinberg Medical for their exceptional care and professionalism. The Workman Comp system can be hard to navigate, but I felt sincerely cared for and supported. I am so grateful for the care I received from them."
"I feel like a lot of the negative reviews have to do with people's frustrations over workers comp, not with the actual quality of care. Dr. Feinberg was professional, thorough, fair, and had a great bedside manor. As an unbiased judicator of my workers comp case he executed his role perfectly. If your worker's comp insurance recommends him, you can take comfort in knowing this guy is above the board and does everything the legal and correct way."
"Terrible office. No human being answering the phone. Breaks appointments with me and when somebody finally calls back they make excuses. The Doctors looks like they are on the workers comp insurance side."
"This is my second review of Dr. Feinberg Dr. Feinberg was responsible for my re-evaluation. In may of 2020 i had my second visit and it was Dr. Feinbergs job to explain to me the dynamic of my condition/injury and provide me with an answer as to how my injury had or was progressing. I had only gone through minor short term treatment with physical therapy since seeing him. I had only 6 visits with a physical therapist over 4 weeks for a injury that had been prevalent for a year and a half. The beginning of our visit had to be conducted via video chat because of the corona virus and the second part of the visit was to be an in person examination(it last. Through the video chat he asked basic questions about my pain and abilities but the laptop crashed and he decided to start with the in-person part of the examination. I explained i hadnt made any progress on any front. I conveyed these specifics to dr.feinberg. He showed little concern. I was not looking for hugs and kisses, i was looking for a concise, educated, and concerned opinion on the dynamic of my injury. You know the kind a medical doctor that went to med school and gained. a phd would give. After our in person examination which lasted only 2 minutes he said "welp, you definitely got a problem" (yeah, tell me something i dont know) when i asked what should i do about my injury he said something that completely blew me away and that ill never forget. He said "just move on with your life". Yes you read that right. A medical doctors medical advice after 25+ years in the industry was to "move on with my life" he gave no clinical or qualitative explanation about my current condition, he gave no advice on how to treat, and gave no advice on how i could regain my health and become rehabilitated. As soon as i got ready to ask another question he quickly blurted "hope you feel better, take care" and then rushed out of the room. I was in disbelief that he dismissed me so quickly for the second time in a row!! He showed zero concern and absolutely no sign of wanting to even be there. When the nurse came back in i requested she get the doctor because i still had questions. He was irritated by this. Minutes later he came in, i thanked him for taking time out of his day to address my concerns. And said "look, your report hold the most weight in my case, your opinion determines my fate, with that being said what should i do moving forward, i haven't gotten any help or answers from anyone else, my condition has not progressed, if the limited treatments i have had have not helped what is their left to do? Do i need surgery?" His response to my question was "if you were my grandson i would say not to get surgery" (i thought to myself well im not your grandson) i failed to see what his grandson had to do with anything. When i asked him to justify why i shouldnt get surgery he said "because i am young, and that surgery wouldnt help anyway in the long run" as if me being young made up for having a severe physiological defect for a year and a half with zero progress or healing. I reminded him that i hadn't made any progress and nothing else worked and that i believed i was at the crossroads of possibly needing surgery. He said "well ill put that in the report". At this point i knew all hope was lost. I was defeated. I knew there was no way Dr. Feinberg was going to concern himself with my case anymore than he had already shown. This visit was scary for me because it was the final report that would determine how the insurance agency would move forward in terms of taking care of my medical treatment and or providing me with a settlement to handle treatment myself. Im sure Dr. Feinberg did not convey the seriousness and importance of my current medical condition and i believe that his lack of effort will ultimately cause me to be left in a worse situation than i already am. THIS MAN SHOULD NOT BE A DOCTOR LET ALONE RESPONSIBLE FOR EXAMINING INJURED PEOPLE AND PROVIDING A ACCURATE, REALISTIC, IN DEPTH REPORT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR. FEINBERG."
