One Medical: Financial District - Sutter

"I recently had a quick visit at this practice and was shocked to receive a bill for an absurd amount of money. Not only that, but I was also charged for a test that didn't align with what I was told by the doctor during my visit. Despite reaching out to the team and office multiple times to rectify the situation, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response or a call back. The lack of transparency in billing and the disregard for communication has left me deeply disappointed. I strongly advise against seeking services at this practice. If I could give zero stars, I would. DONT USE ONE MEDICAL"

"Horrible service! Showed up here for my appointment with no one at the front desk! The workers here don’t care about the patients at all and seems like they just slack off. I ended up calling the headquarters for them to tell me what to do, they told me to just walk to the lab, when I did that, the women in the lab told me I need to wait outside to be checked in. 20 minutes later, I’m still sitting in the waiting room to be checked in while there is no one at the front desk. I’d avoid this location in future."

"Worst service I have ever paid for. I was told by friends if you paid $150 a year for this service that you would be able to get same day appointments in the city (SF). I commute to SF so I don't have a regular doctor hear so I thought the service would work for me. I paid the $150. Called to get an appointment. Got one about a 15 minute walk away later in the day. Went to appointment, checked in, gave them my medical card and then sat there for an hour past my appointment time. I got up to ask the receptionist what was up and she said there was a scheduling error and could I come back tomorrow. This is after I got confirmation of my appointment via email and sat there for an hour. How long was she going to let me sit there before they told me there was an issue. I called back and cancelled the service."

"I love One Medical. I don't want any other medical provider, just this one. I recently transferred my services over to the Berkeley office, since I moved to the East Bay. But because One Medical is so awesome, I can still set up appointments in San Francisco, which is where I work. I would normally go to this San Francisco office. And everyone here has always been so pleasant and have just really made me proud to be a patient for One Medical. If I am not able to schedule an in office appointment, I am still able to talk to a PA over the phone, who can tell me what I need to do or send a prescription to my nearby pharmacy. This is extremely helpful. If I just have the cold or the flu, speaking to a PA over the phone, makes me life so much easier. Sometimes going to a doctor's office is a lot of work. It's probably necessary for other times, but knowing that this service is available, for times when I don't necessarily need to be in the office, is great! I really can't see myself going to another provider. I can't. You got me good One Medical. I'm in for the long haul."
