"Spoke with one of the 2 Baldwin Mader jerks yesterday on the phone regarding a potential lawsuit. He was incredibly short and hostile thru the entirety of the 4 minute conversation, then before I could finish my story blurted out "I charge $495/hr and my partner charges $495/hr, do you want to pay us that to help you???" I kindly said I know how lawyers work and I would never pay you a dime sir. He then said "Stop wasting my time" and hung up on me. DO NOT ENGAGE these clowns."
"facts 1. threatened to bill for discussing the bill. Actually charged for that. 2. threatened to bill me for disputing the bill. Actually charged for that 3. threatened not to return our deposit 4. consistently provided bills late or had excuses not to provide it 5. Failed to provide explanations for things on the bill when questioned. 6. Billed for correspondence with me that never even happen. 7. Work and phone calls were assigned to wrong dates. 8. consistent use of block billing 9. Threatened to bill me if i did not sign a substitution form. Fired me for telling him to cease all further billing/work and then billed me 24 minutes for $200 on an 8 line emailing stating that I was fired. Play it safe: stay away from baldwin-mader if unless you want them to use their lawyer-ing skills to sap your wallet while doing minimum work."
