"I was looking for a specific type of roses, Rugosa rose. All the local big chain nurseries or home stores did not carry these. Sales associates didn't even know what they are. But luckily I found some at Big Oaks Nursery even though I started my search a bit late in the season. ... I did also bought several Cecile Brunner climbing roses in 1 gallon pots for a great price. And the staff were very friendly, too. Will definitely be returning to search for those hard to find plants and competitively priced plants."
"Family owned nursery. Not quite the selection of someplace like "Green Acres", but the staff is fairly knowledgeable and helpful. Good prices and decent selection of Acer Palmatum (Japanese Maples). Attached is a photo of a variegated dogwood we purchased last year. Doing well and surviving the heat with a little help. One nice thing about a nursery like this is that you can find some decent material for training as bonsai. At any rate, give this place a try. Nice getaway during the pandemic. Rarely crowded. Decent plant selection. Good prices."
"One of the best nursery in the area with plenty of plants, trees. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Their prices are good and you can also buy eggs & chickens from them. They also have variety of storage homes to buy."
