"Just a BIG FYI for everyone: This store closes at 10pm SHARP. Google, CVS website, and even their phone recording say midnight, but that has not been the case since pre-pandemic. They are card only after 8pm, with no cashback (this is when they close the cash boxes.) Other than that, I haven't had much complaints other than even the silliest of things requires someone to come unlock, like shaving razors, shampoos, etc, and it can take awhile to get someone to come. I gave up after 20 minutes a few times and ripped the cardboard hang tab with a key on the products a few times when it came to trying to get something like a $7 pack of razors. Sorry y'all."
"The Awful Pharmacy that I have ever gone . They are very rude . They don’t know anything about humanity and I had medical but they charge me for medicine. They always think about themselves. The manager is very impolite and behave very bad to customers."
"CVS El Cerrito Plaza, has been an anchor retail business @ El Cerrito plaza for well over a decade. It’s a great shopping experience with friendly staff and professional management. Highly recommended."
"I went to the CVS to return something and I had the receipt, I gave it to the cash register woman and she said I needed an ID. Really a ID? To rerun an item someone else bought me for my birthday? I had the receipt it’s not like I stole it or something. That is just dumb that they need to see your ID to return something in cash. And after all that I couldn’t even return it."
"Im waiting to talk w the pharmacist on the phone.. Ive been on hold for over 40 minutes!. I was told my prescriptions would be ready today. My family member was told an hour ago, that the meds were not ready -by the cashier. He was also given personal medical info regarding my insurance- unsolicited. The cashier should not be sharing medical or insurance info. Ask the customer to call the store for details dont put the responsibility on the person who is only doing pick up..It is against the law to start talking about someone's medical info. No wonder no one is answering the phone as they are very unprofessional and dont follow protocol. They need training desperately."
