"A+ excellent customer service at this Home Depot Garden Center from Eric and Sandy. They were very informative and helpful and loaded my car for me. I will definitely refer friends to that home depot. Thanks again for a great experience and all your help!"
"They usually have a great variety of plants but I almost always found aphids/mealy bugs infestation on the plants that I have bought here. If I really want to buy a plant from this garden center (which happens because other home depot locations somehow don't have this much variety), I usually quarantine the plants for a week, if no infestation found, I throw their original soil, wash the plants well and plant them in my home made potting mix. It is a tedious process but the only way to avoid infesting other house plants. P.S., if you find infestation on their plants, return them. IIRC, they take returns up until 3 months from the date of purchase if we have the original receipt."
"I tend to shop here for most of my yardwork and gardening needs: flowering plants including colorful seasonals (petunias, chrysanthemums, pansies/violas, begonias, lobelias), flowering perennials (bougainvilla, geraniums, lantenas, plumbagos, lavenders), perennial greens (ferns, philodendrons, anthurium, crotons, dipladenia madinia), succulents (they have nice range of succulents in many sizes and offered individually or as tastefully aranged ornate assortments; kalanchoe, sedums, sedeverias, ripple jade, jade hobbit, jade ogre leaves, climbing aloe, zanzibar aloe, echeverias, crassula, graptoveria, narrow leaf chalksticks), decorative garden stakes, colorful outdoor solar powered lights, potting soil, mulch, stone pavers, planters (ceramic, glass, plastic, wood), and lattices and shephard's hooks of different shapes/sizes. All Garden Center associates are really helpful and friendly, but Olga and Lynn have always gone out of their way to help me with my shopping visits! There are both advantages and disadvantages of the location inside The Great Mall of Milpitas. The location is central near the upcoming BART station, parking space is large and shared with the Mall, errands can be coupled for efficiency (including trips to the Mall itself, the Sunday farmer's market, and nearby Indian store). On the other hand, access from Great Mall Drive and parking around the main Home Depot entrance can be really challenging mostly on the weekends due in part to the proximity to the Century theatre; I never use that entrance, but rather approach the Garden Center directly from Mustang Drive and park well ahead of the Garden Center entrance."
"I love Home Depot specially milpitas location. I gave you one star because I am in line at the garden for a while and yen the cashier saw the line of people ready to check out and she offered a credit card application to a previous customer and it took forever. In my opinion don't offer a credit card application when there is a line of customers and only one cashier."
"Great store with big selection and friendly staff. Somehow I have always managed to find the stuffs I need in home depot, but not Lowe's although they are both categorized as big hardware stores. This location also have gardening area on the outside and they sell Christmas trees as well during holiday seasons. They accept competitor coupons as long as it's a mail coupon, not a printout."
