G-Spot

"My fiancé and I visited this store. Unfortunately, there was a man working there who made us uncomfortable—not for any sexual reasons. We were unwelcome. And, I am unsure why. It’s my partner’s birthday, and we were there to browse and buy. As I was walking to the store, he was outside smoking. A woman was there who was professional and answered questions about two toys I looked at. She was great. He came in after a few minutes. He interrupted the woman who worked there as she was providing information on a product. When I explained what I was looking for, he abruptly said “we don’t carry that here.” I saw a funny gag gift that might be great for a white elephant gift exchange I’m participating in at a holiday party. I inspected the display box for a price, and he explained that it was a display box and the individual items were for sale, not the box (which I think would be obvious to anyone who has ever seen a display box). I saw another perfect item for the white elephant gift exchange, as long as the party is adults only. I pulled out my cell phone to see if it was adults or all ages, and the man abruptly told me that no cell phones were allowed in the store to honor everyone’s privacy. I am very happy to honor the store policy. The policy is a-okay. His style of communication was not okay. So…puzzling. Very puzzling. Mister, if you’re the owner, your business would be more profitable if you got a job elsewhere and let the woman with the aqua hair and rainbow glasses do your job."

"If there are any reviews about a man making customers feel uncomfortable or unwelcome, I’m pretty sure they’re talking about the bald Caucasian man larry who I’ll assume is the manager based off previous reviews. I am usually greeted with open arms when visiting this store but not this time.. not with Larry. He’s incredibly awkward and gives major psycho vibes. Not someone I’d like to buy from or even trust disclosing my personal preferences with. I’d look into new management asap especially with summer right around the corner."

"I won’t ever go back to this store. Went in on a Monday evening to browse for my bday. The guy working there made us feel very unwelcome. He felt the need to chime in whenever we asked the other sales associate a question. He rudely and loudly stated that they ask people to keep their phones down for the privacy of others. My partner was on her phone and very clearly did not have it pointed up or at anything or anyone in the store. She was verifying the date for a party we were going to as we intended to buy a gift at this establishment for the white elephant gift giving game. He could have been more welcoming to his customers and communicated the phone policy in a less abrupt way. It felt like we were an inconvenience to him, like we were bothering him. We left immediately and we will never go back."
