"I love the store, has a lot of fabulous things. But for my first visit if I wanted to go through airport security I would have went to LAX smh!!!"
"As everyone else mentioned, before you step in, you are greeted by the gate keeper. A lady holding the rope like you're about to enter a club. She makes you wait for about 5 seconds (so the camera captures your face to prevent theft) . My issue with this store is the lack of cashiers. 2 young males no older than 20. Line was long. Was stuck in line for about 25 minutes with only 5 customers ahead of me and about 8 behind me. The worst part was when I was exiting, the alarm went off. The cashier did not remove the security clip which I had to go all the way upstairs again and have them remove. I'd avoid this place. Ross is a little more welcoming."
"Do yourself a favor and avoid this store. From the moment you walk in there is a lady and two guys standing at the door. They have a rope like you are walking into a night club. The lady proceeded to ask me "What are you here to get?". I stood there in disbelief, I have never been stopped by security at a store before I walked in and was interrogated about what I was there to purchase. Before I could say anything the lady said, "I am going to hold you here so that you can have a good shopping experience". To this I responded, "Whoever came up with the idea of having security stop customers at the door and interrogate them needs to be fired". I turned around and told the mall cops that I will spend my money where I will not be treated like a thief. To the Burlington management team, I understand that you are trying to reduce theft. The correct way to approach this would be to have greeters and or security staff in uniform at the front door greet customers with a smile, let them know that their business is appreciated, and be present to give customers a sense of safety while shopping there. Detaining customers at the door like everyone is there to steal is not the correct approach. . There is a Ross next door that does not interrogate you at the door, and a Nordstrom Rack in the shopping center two blocks down the street that appreciate my business and welcome me when I come in. Unless you want to feel like you are being processed before you are entering a high security prison, I would suggest that you shop elsewhere. I will never step foot at this location ever again."
"Store is a dump, things tossed everywhere. No AC, 30 min line and only because I found a puffer coat I really wanted. 25+ in line and 2 cashiers, brought it to the managers attention and she said they didn't have any one to open and went about her business collecting empty shopping carts. This location should be shut down. Ridiculous."
"Love the new Burlington location. The inside looks amazing, hope it stays that way in the long run. Love how spacious it looks and feels and it had plenty of great items inside. It seems plus size clothing was already in need of a restock in the women section, since it was sadly sparced but it was opening week. One huge negative which I'm hoping it's just because it's not summer yet, is the ventilation is either bad or not on. It was super warm for a cool day outside, can't imagine how it would get once the heat actually gets here. .. ...update went back yesterday an the ac was on! Woo felt great."
