"A very outdated hotel Needs a major remodel 2 stars would be very generous.. Was charged $29.95 resort fee per night. Yet no daily cleaning room and no replenishing towels nor any amenities. We stayed 5 nights and had hot water for 1 shower and the rest of the time was barely warm. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY."
"A rep named "Jessica" (present around 7:30am, 2/13/24), at the front desk was rude to us when we were checking out. We were only asking nicely if what was promised to us when we checked-in about the free parking fee at the enclosed (valet free) parking is valid. She was on the offense and so aggressive -- very unprofessional. We were trying to explain that it was someone named Alejandro who offered it but, instead, she left the counter with us standing there and did not return. Thus, we decided to leave too without any confirmation to avoid getting bad vibes so early in the morning. She shouldn't be assigned at the front desk since she doesn't have the temperament to deal with customers in a courteous and polite way."
"The rooms were so outdated the walls were peeling, the room was just had an overall disgusting feeling and could just really feel and see the age. The hotel needs a full makeover, the casino staff are extremely rude wasn’t used to all that being that I’ve been to Vegas plenty of times. The only great thing about this stay was I was able to walk to the Gondola for Heavenly each day. I would recommend staying somewhere with better up-keeping, service, and updated rooms"
"Initially as we arrived, the front desk personnel gave us a room facing a wall she was unfriendly and her customer service was awful. We decided to talk to a different customer service personnel and she was excellent. She listened to our concerns and took the time to help us get a room with better view. The Harrah's is lucky to have her, I wished I had her name to properly provide her with the credit she deserves but maybe management can provide customer service courses so that all front desk personnel acts accordingly in order to provide excellent customer service."
"Most of the staff are in bad moods. I've made efforts to alleviate some of them. Some get better with time and kindness. I do consider the difficult people they are required to deal with on a daily basis and they probably aren't earning a livable wage. I do try to consider where they're coming from. But there are some there who really just don't like being there and you can tell. From my perspective it ruins the mood and energy of the place. I kinda don't want to return even though I've enjoyed myself on a number of occasions. Maybe it's a lower end casino and I need to go to a more elevated casino. The staff may get paid a living wage and so they may be happy to see me. I leave the review so that the people in charge know that it's obvious how much stress your employees are under. I recommend paying them a living wage. If you can't live on your own one a single income in a studio apartment. Then you're not making a livable wage. Not my situation. I just know that it's not something that can be done for your average employee."
