"We have only good things to say about Citizen Canine! Our standard poodle has participated in the Academy program and currently goes to regular daycare a few times/week. Both are outstanding! We initially didn't think we would do the Academy, but are so glad we did. We had attended other training classes, and our dog came in with the basics. But the attention and excellent further training she received as part of the Academy program was ideal. It also got her out of the house 4 days/week, which was important developmentally because she is an only dog and needed to socialize with more people and other dogs. After the Academy, we were able to transition to regular daycare, which is less individual attention. But from what we can see, there is still lots of love to go around. Another thing we really like about Citizen Canine (Academy and daycare) is that they give dogs time to rest during the day. This is important for doggie health and also to avoid injuries and fights. Everyone we have met at Citizen Canine has been friendly and professional. Although it is a commitment to drive there, since we live in North Berkeley, it has been the best choice for us. Highly recommended!"
