"I have been suffering from an anxiety disorder and have been medicated on Lexapro for years. The past couple years my symptoms have gotten worse and worse and it has been agony to say the least to get through the day. I had heard that over time, Lexapro stops working. I made an appointment with Dr. Lindberg to see if this was the case. When I asked her she looked bewildered and treated me as though it was an insane question. She said that of course Lexapro would never stop working. I was on 60 mg/day. I went to another doctor for a second opinion (Dr. Michael Schwarts on Madison in Torrance, CA) and he informed me that Lexapro stops working over time and that is likely what had happened to me since I have been on it for over ten years. He switched me over to a new medication and once on a high enough dose, my symptoms were diminished. Do NOT go to Dr. Lindberg. She treats her patients like little children who need to be disciplined and has no idea what she's doing or does the wrong things purposely to get patients to spend more money on appointments. I have been through hell and high water with my anxiety and Dr. Lindberg is someone I should never have trusted to help me."
