"My mother went into the Toys 'N Motion location in Milpitas, California. She is new to America and does not understand English well. She bought some merchandise from this store and was dissatisfied with the quality of the products, as they were far below par. I gave them a call and they had unresponsive customer service and I was forced to drive an hour for this confrontation. Nowhere on the receipt does it state that there is or is not a refund policy and there was not a refund policy clearly posted anywhere. As a matter of fact, there was no official documentation kept of this "no refund policy", except for a poorly handwritten, and egregiously hard to read piece of crumpled binder paper, the size of a Post-It note. To anybody with eyesight issues, or less than optimal eyesight, it's completely illegible. When confronted about this, and when I attempted verify this policy with any kind of official documentation or reassurance, they repeatedly and blatantly falsified titles and misled us into calling phone numbers of people who's identity or position is not clear. They also blatantly lied to my face. They told me repeatedly that there was no owner of the establishment at all and they gave me a fake customer service phone number and I was told this would be the highest person in power that I could reach. Not even 10 minutes later, they changed their story saying that this person was in a lower position than the supervisor I was on the line with earlier. They cannot keep their fake story straight and it disgusts me that they can siphon money away from less aware individuals. I asked for the supervisors number and they did not give it. They were okay with giving me this spoof number, but not the actual number to a "real" member of this establishment, position ambiguous. These exploitative and unprofessional market practices do not belong in a store for children, especially at one of the busiest malls in the Bay Area."
"These are actually fake toys and this place should be closed down. They legit have the worst customer service. The dude legit doesn’t even acknowledge people as they walk in the store. Someone close this place down please. Pathetic."
"This people are not honest at all how can they have a business? they are also thieves. The Indian guy who sold me the $220 remote car on August 17 was laughing the whole time and avoiding the situation helping another customers. Left me there with other employees who knew nothing about the situation. I purchased a car for my daughter and they were supposed to hold it for me. I went back to go get it and they said my husband picked it up. Well I don’t have a husband then they said my boyfriend came and took it, mind u I have the receipt on my phone and no one has accessed to it. Police was called and didn’t resolve the issue all they say is I have to take it to small claims court. Waste of money and time."
"Great collection, felt like a hidden gem in the mall. Though all the items seems to be pretty expensive compared to Amazon prices. Love the store for their collection though ❤️"
"SCAM! A rip off Toys R Us. This place is really over priced for simple toys. The worker there seems really rude and lied to my parents that their products being half off. My little brother wanted a Pokémon box which should go for $20. $40 for a $20 Pokémon set is a straight up scam. Other toys such as slime is $15 and again... he said they were half off. So $30 was the original price? Yeah, right. Half off? More like double the price. Please don't ever shop here! I hope this place at the mall gets replaced by something else that's useful."
