"Called this office to schedule an appointment for a patient referred by their insurance. The doctor answered the call, was very short, and unprofessional on the phone. When I explained the insurance company referred the patient I was calling for, he promptly dismissed that he doesn't accept that insurance and hung up. If the insurance company refers someone to you, and you don't work with that company, it should be updated on both ends so people seeking assistance don't have to deal with someone being rude. With that said, if this first encounter was only by phone, I'm glad the patient doesn't have to seek treatment from this doctor, as clearly he didn't seem interested in helping people or showed any kindness when answering his calls.
