"Didn’t even get to see the Dr. today. We had an appointment at 3:45 for what I thought was both children As we are new to the area, but only one child was booked in their schedule. Saw a Med student who is interning in office that took all our info. Then, for over an hour, we waited, in a room. Not a peep of communication from a staff member during that hour about the doctor running behind with another family, I had to hunt for someone to even ask where he was. I left out of frustration and thought I should just reschedule since things happen that are out of the control of the doctor. Fine. When I asked the front desk if we could reschedule and do a records request from our previous physician, I was told that I needed to follow up that they are received from my previous doctor to this office ( first time I’ve ever been told to do the job of the office staff to follow up with patient history/records request) because they “don’t do that”. The instance that made me walk out, was her comment that she was supposed to be done with work already, as if it was a pain to help me. I will be finding a provider who’s staff actually care about new patients. Livid."
