"It is possible that 2 weeks ago Vaseema Arastu was having a bad day when my 2 year old son came for his first visit with her after switching doctors. I said hi when she walked in and she did not respond. She Ignored me and began to ask questions about my son. They seemed to be the mandatory questions that needed to be marked before she could leave. She was very cold and short in her speech. I did not feel comfortable or welcome. My son was a little nervous as most 2 year olds are, but she didn't give him the benefit of the doubt. She had me lay him on the table. She barely spoke. She put her hand on his jaw and pushed his head to the side so hard that he probably pulled a muscle. He began to cry so bad and she realized what she did, so she touched him more gently. I was in shock and I could not believe this happened. I did not want my son to lose his growing courage at medical clinics, so I did not react the way I wanted to in the moment. I knew that the damage was done and I would never return to this place ever again. She finished the physical exam. Told me about his weight and height range and left. I changed doctors as soon as possible after this. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Yes, it is possible that she was having a bad day, but to take it out on a child is cruel. If someone is going through something so bad in their life that it comes to this, a sick day or personal day needs to be called for the safety and legal security of all parties involved. Even if this was an accident, her cold and short talk with me left me without trust in her, her care for myself, and my son."

"My son has been a patient of Dr. Vaseema Arastu for quite some time. She's been a great doctor always willing to answer questions even when their not related to the initial reason for visit. Her staff is great and easy to communicate with. My only complaint I think would be the wait time. Which is typical of a good doctor. She never rushes which is why her visits with patients differ in time length and contributes to the wait. Another concern is that her office hours are all over the place, which again, I'm sure if I wrote down her office hours I wouldn't have that problem. Overall, great doctor and staff."

"I have always liked Dr. Vasema and she has not only been a good doctor for my girls for the past 12 years but treated us with respect. Sometimes we have to wait to see her, and I don't mind, however, the office hours say one thing when the actual hours are another that's why only 4 stars. Staff has been very helpful."
