"I was impressed by Dr Shapiro. We had a pediatrician for 13 years and had to change. On the first appointment I felt like Dr Shapiro new my son as well or better that his previous Dr. She had studied his history and was completely up to speed. Impressive and a friendly demeanor."

"I have seen Dr. Shapiro for close to 15 years. my daughter was seen by Dr. Lou in her second year of life and then we transfered to dr. Shapiro because it was best for her to see a female doctor as she got older. Dr. Shapiro has seen my daughter through stomach flue, severe colds, regular yearly check ups, normal teen development and injuries. She always refers to best specialties and and offers the best advice given her own experience with her children. Her nurse is great too! she always returns calls and is easy with the shots. parking is validated, and appointments are scarce. now this is a regular doctor office, so if you want to be seen same day call early morning to see if they have a cancelation or just go to an urgent care. be on time as the have like a 10 min grace period. when my daughter turned 12 I got pregnant again. she was born with a slightly deformed skull which was corrected with a special helmet, and she took a while to speak but Dr. Shapiro helped me understand what was normal and not normal and what to look out for as red flags. Now i have a healthy 15 and 3 year old both cared by this doctor. she is very competent, knowledgeable and remember my girls even though she only sees them once a year now..that's all I need in a pediatrician."

"Dr. Shapiro is amazing. We met her at the hospital along with Dr. Fisher when my daughter was born. The low star reviews are unfair. The doctors are doing rounds at the hospital for the newborns on Monday morning, which is probably why they aren't there. They always return my calls. I'll send Dr, Shapiro photos and messages and she responds within the hour with suggestions, but if it's serious, she'll have us come in. The office is clean and the staff is so friendly. My 20 month old is never afraid to go there. Dr. Shapiro explains things so carefully and she always always anticipates my list of questions, that by the time I get to my list she's already answered most of them. She realistic which I love most about her. She wouldn't tell you anything that she wouldn't do or have done to her own kids."
