"I placed a call to the doctor on call last week on Tuesday. The doctor didnt call back until Friday at 745 pm. Said she was too busy with other patients and paperwork. Avoid this place they don't care about babies health. They saw my baby and said nothing about him having allergies. Yet same week he sees a different clinic and right away the doctor says he has allergies. Within 1 day of taking his allergy meds he's feeling better, sleeping better and eating better. This place is a joke just get as many in and out as possible."
"The doctors there have all been good, some are better. I have taken my children to this business for 15 years, and in the last year it has been a complete disappointment. When you first arrive, the office staff does not greet you, their time of voice is filled with annoyance/irritation. After you take give them your information you take a sit in the lobby (that used to be a great area with a few paly centers for the children), while the office staff conversations can be overheard (ladies - sounds travels in that building no matter how quiet you think you are) about other patients/disgruntlements with parents/guardians. If you are on-time or lucky enough to be seen before 30 minutes, otherwise be prepared to wait up to an hour. I like to note how the office staff likes to note because there is not a room ready or that it was the time in which the doctor is taking longer with another patient. It would be appreciated if the doctors and staff would communicate more about time management, and give the patients an estimate time if they are expected to wait a bit longer before being seen. Now, let's speak about the doctors... Like I stated before the doctors have all been good with the exception to some that really are outstanding. When I first began bringing my children the doctors throw out my concerns about health issues. Being told "You are a first time parent, first parent always overreact, it is just a phase, are you a doctor? " nevermind, I come from a very large family and am the oldest of 44+ immediate cousins - some I even babysat as infants. A parent only hopes a healthcare provider would oversee being a " new parent" as being irrational and focus on the child. Took 5 years after that first appointment to finally get my childs school and a refer to see a specialist (Standford children hospital) to discover what I knew all along what my child was going thought " a phase they will grow out of" - diagnosed with Autism/ADHD. Even though doctors and office staff are just human beings doing the best they can in a career that they choose because of a number of reasons - financial income, fast track career out of college, passion for the career - the most important focus should always be for patient and their well being."
"I called the office to see if my son was up to date on all of his shots and when he would need more shots. The employee who answered my call was I believe Julie or Juliet and basically shamed me for not knowing when he would need more shots telling me that it’s the parents responsibility to know and that I was notified during his last visit when he would need follow up shots. I informed her that I did not attend his last visit which was about 13 months ago his father did and I asked her again to check his chart to see when he would need follow up. As someone who works in the medical field I found it very inappropriate of her to have shamed me for not knowing and to have asked her to check. Very poor customer service over the phone. Will be looking for a new pediatricians office."
"I have been taking my son there since he was born. Dr. Darmawin is AMAZING. very caring, compassionate and respectful. I never feel like I'm being rushed with my questions. However, the front office is HORRIBLE. I've had a couple issues with things getting settled in a timely manner, and when I do call to get answers, it's just a blame game. The front office isn't friendly and treat you like you are bothering them. I'm definitely looking into changing pediatrician BECAUSE of the front office. Such a shame that a great doctor has to be in business with people with poor work ethics."
