"She misdiagnosed my 3-year old's vitiligo, did not refer him to a dermatologist, and aggravated the situation by giving a wrong topical cream. She was the substitute doctor for our primary pediatrician in Mt View PAMF, and once our original doctor was back, he was able to catch the misdiagnosis in 1st session itself. We are still struggling to recover from this today."

"I have taken my child to a few wellness appointments with Dr Padrez, she was always rushed, not very perceptive. She spent very little time interacting with my child, and spent about 5 minutes to talk about the typical milestones for my child's age, all information readily available online. She requests that a patients' parent fill up a questionnaire prior to the exam, which includes an area where the parent can ask questions. Dr Padrez would go through the questions very quickly during the appointment, giving very generic answers, again all available online. As a parent, I would like to know what part of that generic information is actually applicable to my child. There was no actual exam, she relies entirely on the parents to report issues. The vitals and measurements are captured by the nurse, the immunization is also performed by the nurse, these were the useful parts of the wellness exams. I sent Dr Padrez 2 messages between appointments regarding some concerns, I sent them via the online system used by this clinic, and the answers came from a nurse and another doctor. When my child was sick, doctor Padrez was never available, so I had to take my child to urgent care. At my child's 2-year-old wellness exam, my child was cranky and did not want to step on the scale nor stand still to get her height measured. Those measurements were to be taken by the nurse prior to the exam. I told the nurse I would help my child calm down while waiting for the doctor, and take the measurements after seeing the doctor. My child had consistently been over the 90th percentile for height and 80th percentile for weight, I had also taken those measurements at home monthly and checked the same percentile charts, so there was no concern about those measurements. When I saw the doctor, the first thing she mentioned was that she wanted those measurements taken, that it was important to have them in her chart, and that I should force my child if needed...OK... It was very clear to me that filling up the information in the chart and going through the process was far more important to her than the wellness of my child. She had no interest in engaging with my child nor doing an actual exam, she had no empathy, smiled in order to appear nice on the surface but it all looked very fake. Every time we left this place, I was thankful that my child was healthy because I honestly don't think this doctor could diagnose accurately, she tends to brush things off to just go on to the next patient. At our last appointment, I had a short discussion with the nurse and expressed some issues that I was dissatisfied about, and some that I considered disrespectful, and informed her that we would not be coming back. I wrote a review on Yelp after that last experience. The clinic sends a satisfaction survey after each visit. I'm sure doctor Padrez anticipated that I would provide bad feedback on this survey, so she sent me a letter claiming that I had used profanity when talking to her nurse (which was not true, I had my young child next to me who was at an age when they repeat a lot of what they hear, I made sure I used acceptable language), the purpose of the letter was apparently to inform me that she would no longer be my child's pediatrician, though she already knew that since I had made it clear to the nurse, and stated it in my Yelp review which was posted the day of the appointment, so she knew about it, there was no need to send a letter. She has many negative reviews, some very troublesome, her letter was clearly an attempt at discrediting my negative feedback by attacking me personally and documenting it in a letter that she put in my file, she was basically covering herself. She is probably unaware that it is clear defamation of character. I'm sure the PAMF legal counsel would find it very unwise to make such aggressive claims based solely on hearsay. It is somewhat surprising that a medical professional would stoop that low."
