"Never came across a more condescending and patronizing doctor. He shows a total disrespect for what a parent knows about their own child. In my case, my one-year-old was in agony (screaming like never before) with what I suspected was a UTI , but he insisted I wait 2-3 additional days for a cultured test, or seek a second opinion as he refused to prescribe any treatment. Thankfully I went with my gut and sought a second opinion. In fact, two Kaiser doctors were happy to prescribe antibiotics based on the initial urinalysis, which showed clear signs of bacterial infection. Days later the cultured tests came back to confirm she had a UTI. Had we waited for him to be “certain”, my daughter would have continued to be in worsening pain for days!!!! The biggest insult isn’t that he was wrong - doctors are human - it was the despicable way he treated a mother in distress and then tried to cover his tracks."

"We've taken both our girls to Dr. Lewis since they were infants. I've found that Dr. Lewis always takes the time to explain everything and remains calm and reassuring. I've also found it extremely helpful that Dr. Lewis will answer questions per email, when I don't know if symptoms warrant a doctor's visit. Overall, our family has had a great experience with Dr. Lewis and would recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatrician for their child."

"I recently brought my one-year-old into see Dr. Brad Lewis and was not impressed with our visit. We were 10 minutes late and I was already embarrassed and apologized about it but his approach to me was condescending and distant. My one-year-old was happy, waving to him, trying to engage with him and he did not acknowledge my child at all. If he were anything but a pediatrician I would not of cared. When additional questions were asked concerning my sons health, his answers were short, lacking any concern if it did not relate to the primary reason we were there. He rushed his time with us which although I was late, I did not feel was appropriate, I was still paying the same amount to be there, and certainly don’t deserve to be treated differently."
