"We came from India last year and went to doctor for my Son’s annual well being. She ordered tests and confirmed 2 times on asking that everything will be covered. Since we were new did not knew much about insurance stuffs. After few weeks we got a bill of $800 for some tests which did not covered by insurance. For me it was difficult to pay such a huge amount. I followed up several times with doctor but no one helped us. The case is still on and it’s been a year. I got several invoice and I disputed the invoice many times. Insurance now settling the case for $400. This is very unethical and unprofessional. I was misguided by doctor and her team and now because of their mistake I have to pay $400 to save my credits being hampered. I would never recommend Dr Pillai to anyone. Very sad to see this type of behavior from doctor’s office in a developed country like this."

From start to finish, Dr was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive, making us feel completely at ease. During the appointment, Dr. Peela took the time to listen carefully to all of my concerns and questions, and provided detailed and informative answers in a way that was easy to understand. Her depth of knowledge and experience was evident, and I felt confident that my child was in very capable hands. What impressed me most about Dr. Peela was her genuine care and concern for my child's wellbeing. She went above and beyond to ensure that my child was comfortable and felt heard, called back and checked on her wellbeing. "One of our worst experiences. Our appointment was at 9.15AM. We were there at 9AM sharp. We were in the lobby waiting until 10.25AM. The nurse came to check up only at 10.30 AM. It was a working day. Both my husband and I had to skip meetings last minute as we did not anticipate it would take 1.5Hours to have a 10 mins doctor visit. Dr. Peela was warm and caring to my kid however the experience was terrible because of the wait time. Have shared one star only Bec of the doctor being caring. If not would rate 0"

"Dr Peela is an amazing pediatrician. We are very fortunate to have her as our pediatrician. She deeply cares for the children, and goes above and beyond. I would like to highlight our experience during emergency and how doctor supported us during that: 1. ER incident: Our daughter had an ER incident and doctor was available throughout. She worked outside of her normal working hours to speak with the ER doctor and plan the next steps, provided doctors note immediately for our medical leave and had multiple followup appointments. It was a huge relief for us to have her be available! 2. Ear infection: our daughter had 2 incidents of ear infection. During both the times, doctor has been made herself available to meet with us on the same day and also at times outside of office hours. Somehow she always manages to make time for us when we need despite her busy schedule. I know some people have complained about the wait times. I have experienced this few times only, most of the time the wait is not more than 15 mins. Dr Peela will go above and beyond, especially in any emergency situations for children she will make herself available. I feel that some wait time for such a great care is well worth it! I strongly recommend Dr Peela."
