L.A. Connection Comedy Theatre in Burbank, California has been perfecting the art of improvisation since 1977. Our mission is to inspire, train, and develop talent of all ages through rehearsals and live performances. We provide a supportive setting for performers to showcase their individual talents in a group dynamic. Founded by Kent Skov, who has worked with industry legends like Del Close and Paul Sills, LAC offers improv classes and performance opportunities for both amateur and professional performers. "My wife and I have been coming to see Kent and his merry band of improv merrymakers since about 1995, when they were located in Studio City. They were funny then, and they're funny now. We always know we're going to see a great show. And since it's the same performers, it's like seeing old friends every time we go (even if only Kent knows me by name). We often celebrate birthdays at LA Connection, and Kent always makes sure to include us in the games, which only add to the frivolity. And you can't beat the price. It's a great way to spend a Saturday night: laughing so hard you cry!"

"This place is legit for only $10 you could see five different shows starting at like 5 or 6:00 p.m. every Saturday. And there's no two drink minimum in fact there's no drinking at all. It's really funny and it's about the most bang for buck thing I can think of doing. The professionals are on at 8:00 p.m. but all of the people are funny regardless of the time slot."
