"This place only cares about money. I’ve taken my dog a few times and they just give an antibiotic, they don’t solve the problem. Recently I kissed an appt because of the flu and the charged me $100 because it wa spews than 24 hours and that’s “policy”. Tried to ask for a one time grace period because I was sick and the doctor said no. Just cared about getting more money."

"My boy had to be put down so I canceled my appointment and I ended up receiving a personal letter from Dr Alex saying sorry about my dog and he mentioned kind things he remembered. "I was an ADC disciple for over 2 years. Despite them not being able to help my sweet pup with allergy related hearing loss or his lifelong skin allergies, I was always impressed with how clean their facility was. Plus, paying top dollar for his care gave me a feeling like he must be in the best hands possible. Unfortunately, I had to end our relationship with ADC quite abruptly due to one unhinged front desk employee. I needed some prescriptions renewed so I called and made an appointment for the following week. After driving the 2 hours to ADC (I don’t live close) and showing up on time I was immediately confronted with the reality that the girl I spoke to on the phone, the same girl checking me in, had scheduled our appointment for the wrong day. Due to my now deaf dog’s absolute terror of riding in cars and the fact I live so far away, leaving and coming back “some other day” wasn’t an option. I begged to be squeezed in somehow. This wasn’t my fault, it was hers, and she knew it. To mask her embarrassment, she got snippy, really snippy, and loud. The whole lobby was immediately flushed with a heavy blanket of toxic energy. Her coworkers were staring at her with dropped jaws. It was in that instant I realized I’d never in good conscience be able to take my pup there again. I scurried out as fast as I could but not before she screamed a scary, “Have a nice day!!!!” at the top of her lungs. I started my journey there years ago based on the positive reviews. It’s beyond unfortunate that one person can single handedly destroy the reputation of a legit business. Regardless of the level of care my fur baby gets from a vet, I would NEVER knowingly put him in close proximity with a fragile/dangerous employee. I wish I could remember the front desk girl’s name so I could call her out specifically. She definitely stood out against a backdrop of otherwise sweet employees. Hopefully she isn’t a vet tech coming into direct contact with anyone’s animals. Teams are only as strong as their weakest link."
