"The doctor himself is very caring, but not much can be said for the staff. When you call them, they act aloof and as though you’re bothering them. I have tried for three weeks now along with the trial clinic at UCSF and she even had a thing or two to say about this office. Not only did one front office person hang up on her, but the other person just transferred her to medical records (again) and then nothing happens is what usually happens when you get transferred to the medical records dept. I provided the office with the office number, fax and email of the clinical trial coordinator and nothing has been done. Not sure if the staff is aware but the people and families they are dealing with actually care for their family members and love them immensely. Word of advice - stop working at the office if you feel that people you are helping annoy you. This is a life and death situation for many of the callers. Get on the ball or just leave as I’m sure there are many more people out there who are more compassionate and can provide better customer service than what you’re capable of giving."
