"I have been a pt for Dr. Mahmood over 3 yrs. He is a caring person & had a nice caring staff, up till he sold his practice to Providence. He always runs very, very late. Up to 2 hrs. Yesterday, I & one other pt were 15 min late, and the office staff was very, very rude, unprofessional , disrespectful, and refused to have the SV or the Dr to resolve our concerns. Dr. Mahmood didn't even send out notifications about the changes. I will report this pt neglect to management care services. Sorry to lose another knowledgeable, trained Dr to big unorganized corporation. Providence mgt socks!"

"I have had 2 horrible experiences with Dr. Mahmood's office.We had an appt. for my father 6 months ago and the wait time after we had an appt was over 1 hour!!!! Today we had another appt. and the wait time was over 50 mins. We didn't even see the doctor. We had to cancel the appt. because my father couldn't wait any longer due to his condition. We will NEVER go back. We even heard the receptionist tell another patient to come back later because they weren't going to make that appt time. Just horrible. Disrespectful to people's time."

"Dr. Mahmood is nice and so are the staff. Unfortunately it’s been a year later since I originally gave Dr Mahmood a 5 star. I have left 3 messages and will attempt the forth time today to get someone to return my call about a prior authorization that I need for my treatment. Back in Jan my original prior authorization was not checked for correctness and it was denied, I’ve filed grievances and filed a complaint with Managed Health Care (California insurance watchdogs). After months of worry, my insurance is beginning to pay for my treatment. But now I’m being ignored, no return calls, and my treatment approval has ended and Dr Mahmood’s office is unaware that I need a prior approval again. Beware…you need to make sure your authorizations are done/correct or it could cost you an arm and a leg, and lots of stress :("
