"My mother passed away on 10/16/2022 was assigned to Dr. Abdulla after her oncologist retired. My mom had lung cancer and was clean for a year. We all know it will come back. When COVID hit, she was told not to come in for a scan. She finally went in for scan July 2022. Results were available 2 days later. We never heard from anyone. Got an appointment end of September. At this time we were having trouble getting my mom anywhere; lost almost 40 lbs. no body strength. Dr. Abdull who is a very nice man, told us about the results and recommended radiation/chemo without even examining her. Referred for biopsy asap. Took 2 weeks and needed assistance to get her there. When I asked about when the results were available and had to wait for September, he said he does not call or follow up. Depends on radiologist to let him know. She had 8+ mass on what was left of her lung. Radiologist should have seen this; we found out from mom's PCP. She saw it. This does not make sense to me. Would knowing in July have made a difference? Probably not, but at least mom was stronger then to get some kind of treatment. To end this story, my brother received a call from Dr. Abdullah's office wanting to speak to my Mother on Wed. 10/26 - ten days after she passed. My brother advised she passed. The response was "Oh." my brother hung up the phone. We're done."
