"Everything with my visit was fine until I had to wait in the exam room for 1/2 hour because he was in a consult. I heard a lot of laughing and giggling from the room next door and not a lot of consulting. Even when they were finished and in the hallway they were still laughing and having a good time. This behavior towards a patient was unbecoming but mostly unprofessional. Very disappointed with Dr. Montes. My appointment was at 10 and I finally saw him at 10:42 because of this consultation meeting. Then he did not have the manners to even apologize for being late."

"WORST experience with Dr. Montes & his nurse in caring for my 81 y/o mom! When interviewing him to be her dr, he said 'your mom will never be in pain, we will make sure of that & take care of her'. This was furthest from the truth! She had oral cancer, needing radiation, blistered throat, etc & yet we had to FIGHT w him in refilling her pain medication. It was awful! After she passed away 4 years later from her jaw disintigrating due to all of the radiation, I found out that they gave her the max doses of radiation that her insurance would pay for! Never re-evaluated her to see how much she needed, only gave her the most her insurance would pay for. She survived the cancer, died from jaw infections due to the massive amounts of radiation he gave her."
