"We have been going to Green Valley Animal Hospital since mid-2023 for helping our puppy Ellie have a healthy and happy life. They've been amazing in scheduling appointments, approach with care, and an office that's always been clean and welcoming. This facility really deserves your business -- and I couldn't recommend a more effective vet practice in the Folsom/El Dorado County area."
"Olivia and Kim! Thank you. Your work was much appreciated and my kitty is doing much better, on the other hand, Doctor Sharma?? What’s wrong? Why do we act so rude to our customers. It’s a vet, not a morgue. I really recommend you work on customer service skills and how to allocate why your customer is there instead of estimating $750 for a kitty with an upset stomach. Not only that but RIDICULOUS pricing!! If your looking for a affordable, caring vet. Your speaking to the wrong doctor. He doesn’t care about your pet he cares about if your dumb enough to pay the estimate. Shame on you."
"Went to this vet for a year and half because they were close to my house and I loved the vet techs and support staff. The vet there is nice enough, but kinda green. My dog got a fox tail and he couldn't find it despite visiting twice (and missed a 2nd one completely because he didn't examine the other paws). Took the pooch somewhere else and they did an excellent job removing the fox tail with expertise. Again, it's really not a bad place but they could probably use a 2nd vet with more experience to help mentor the newer vet."
"Do NOT go here if you care at all about your pet. We had to put my dog to sleep early last year due to health complications which snuck up on us. To avoid any further pain, the nurses at the hospital recommended we put her down that day. We agreed, it was the best thing to do. Anyway the family was all very emotional (of course) and when the time came to put her down, the vet had a very jarring bedside manner, or lack there of. When he euthanized her, he just repeated “she’s dead now. She’s dead.” Multiple times, with a matter-of-fact tone. Yes we know. We know she’s dead. And I understand that vets grow to become jaded towards this stuff, but it would have been better if he literally said nothing. His attitude in front of a grieving family was bizarre. Not to mention, they said they’d give us a call when she was cremated (we wanted to keep her ashes). It’s been a YEAR and we still have not received them. Disappointed, we’d been going to them for awhile, this experience was enough to put us all off. If you love your dog, cat, bird, whatever… please do not say goodbye to them here if you want your feelings cared for and pet’s remains back."
